suspension ?- rear lower stress bar?

anything that attaches to the moving part of the suspension is by definition a sway bar. stress bars
keep the frame of the car from giving. perhaps its some funky aftermarket thing. can you get a pic
for us?

the '88 i'm parting out was supposedly all original when i bought it. so the
only mods that were done was stuff i had recently been doing. well this car
has a rear lower k-bar on it. it attaches at four points on the rear arm. i
didn't put this on there, and when i mentioned it to some people who were
interested in the suspension they didn't know what it was either. does
anyone got any idea what it is, who makes them, or if it even has a
function? i just assumed it was stock, i guess i was wrong.
