suspension ?- rear lower stress bar?

the '88 i'm parting out was supposedly all original when i bought it. so =

only mods that were done was stuff i had recently been doing. well this c=

has a rear lower k-bar on it. it attaches at four points on the rear arm.=

didn't put this on there, and when i mentioned it to some people who were=

interested in the suspension they didn't know what it was either. does=20
anyone got any idea what it is, who makes them, or if it even has a=20
function? i just assumed it was stock, i guess i was wrong.
