TECH: INJECTORS

What would cause the fuel injectors to be bashed? They were new injectors 
and were installed to spec. 3 of 4 injectors were damaged.

The only thing I can think of is the intake valve is recessing into the 
head, by doing so the injector becomes the target.

Question anybody on the list got an extra 1.8 JH head available, that they 
want to get rid of. (low cost or swap). Must be in good shape.
