What year is your car? If you have a Bently ('75-'79) look at page 68 of
chapter 3, Fuel and Exhaust. Basically, the advance on FI cars attaches to
the vacuum port on the primary venturi of the throttle body, nearest the base
of the TB. I'm guessing the vacuum routing decal is gone from under your hood?
