A1 strut bearings

Do all A1's have the same upper strut bearings? My son's new? 81 Rabbit had a
set still in the bag from the dealer in it ( with half a junkyard worth of
other Dub goodies...) Hoping they will fit the 16V Rocco, or do the 16V's need
a superior, more e$pensive set? (the bunny's a beast BTW, does it ever throw a
good diesel smoke screen! and it has racing stripes!)
