That, or...

Get yourself a Unix mail account that you can telnet to....if you don't
run unix at home anyway.  Then you have no worries!  Been reading the list
from a unix account since I joined....kinda nice really, especially since
we banned HTML emails....a text based reader is all you need (I use Pine).

OR

Use a hotmail account or yahoo or something for list based
emails....Hotmail scans all attatchments for you!  And don't worry about
perpetuating Microsofts hold on the computer world by using Hotmail.
Cause ya know what?  Hotmail runs on UNIX! HAHAHAHA...that still cracks me
up.
