Sounds like you have some good recomendations here.  If it peters out like
loosing power and you can sometimes keep it running by pumping the pedal,
then it would sound like fuel.  If it just dies, then it sounds more
electronics to include the ignition system.  I would check:  Hall sender,
Ignition module, check for bad/loose wiring on coil, module, hall sender,
and corroded ignition wires (spark plug wires).  Also check fuel pump relay
and maybe the wiring in that area but don't forget the check the ignition
switch (has happened before).  HTH!!
