Mk1 vs A1 was: Oil Light




He is using the term Mk1 to mean A1 chassis designation.  I think the
Jetta changed when the Rabbit/Golf 1 became the A2 Golf in 1985 (in the
USA). The Jetta he refs to is the early notchback sedan.
