It's been advised to me  (now) that Motronic is the weakest link to my 
engine upgrade, and that i should seek a "standalone" system.

Anyone with experience here-  could you please offer your 2 cents, and 
perhaps links to your suggestions?

Now, it seems, I will need a Fuel rail made, an intake manifold and an 
exhaust manifold (custom).

My goal is to buy the components myself to save the markup from my 
installers.
