RE: 2002 1.8T GTI

Well maximum torque is available at 1950rpm!  Its a bit too easy to get them
spinning in forst gear, especially with the stock tires.  I have to make sure
everything in my car is well secured before I can gun it in first or second (or
third for that matter).  Almost a total 180 from a 16v, where the power is much
higher in the rev range.
