I know here in Canada we can import just about any car that is older
than 15 years.  So... if the stuff was standard equipment on a Euro car
we should be able to get away with using it here.  Anything older than
15 years by manufacture date doesn't have to be updated to Canadian
spec when importing.  Just pay your taxes/duty and register it.
