Gary, I've never run a 5.25. However, the 4.25 is absolutely great! The 
torque out of the hole is tremendous. I really couldn't imagine going 
any shorter, though, because 1st gear is gone in an instant. Wheel spin 
is almost guaranteed. I love it! :^)
