[ELEC]- Anti-knock set up in hand, now what?
After finding the only remaining complete anti-knock setup in an Audi 4K,
the knock box (smaller of two black boxes w/ vac line, right?), distr.,
sensor, ign. module, and all the wiring connecting it all together from the
engine bay to the boxes, I have a few questions.
Will I need the other ECM, the larger of the two black boxes for this to
run right? Do I need ALL the sensor leads for this (water temp, CIS-E
hook-ups, air bypass control) or can I run this seperate of the engine's
electronics (alt, temp sensors, fuel regulator, on one side; AK box, distr.,
throt. switches, knock sens., and coil, on other side)?
Plan on installing into the 77 rocco. May go into Fox depending on what I
find out for that.
Thanks!
Carl
