Oh, I forgot to address some of your questions:

As far as I know, they have no Scirocco parts at all. Given my experience
with them, they don't have much motivation to supply us, either.

Fiberglass was the idea but I'd rather have ABS, of course.

At one point, I had a list of over 25 people. Now, two years later, that
list is down to about 15 or so. That's still enough to get the party
started, but I'm wondering if it is just destined not to be. :^(
