Re: tech-removal of old valve cover studs
I just bought a new set of stud remover/installer sockets from MAC,...pretty
damn clever tools. If you don't want to spend the cash (like $130 bucks or
so) then do as I did in the past. Clamp down a set of vise grips and twist
'em out. (don't have to worry about the threads since you got new ones.)
It doesn't take much effort,...usually once they are broken loose you can
turn them out by hand.
