Remember The NATCC?  Lasted two seasons with one major manufacturer(Dodge) and a whole bunch of Privateers.  Was exciting, had close racing with a lot of contact on short road courses, and could really cash in on the win on Sunday, sell on Monday mentality that the 3 big still use in their support for NASCAR.  Instead we have stickers for headlights..They also don't run in the rain, don't run at night unless the track is lit up like a Christmas tree, and, look nothing like their street counterparts.  You can have a warm beer Monte, and Ford took away the yamaha tuned V8 SHO..musta looked non'murrican.
