I have pretty much stayed out of this discussion because I do enjoy watching
some of the Nascar races, Taladega/Daytona/Sears Point.

I TOTALLY AGREE with Patrick on this point!!

The sport that started out as "Stock Car Racing" is no more :(
Now the closest thing (that I know about) to "Stock Car Racing" is the BTCC,
SCCA IT classes and others, GTI Cup, other NASA series, etc.....
Why aren't these televised.........................Oh
yeah...$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
