I'd agree with you, but with all due respect, I can't. Personally, I don't
really care, and I've never been involved in the mess until this time. Most
people, like yourself, cut him slack every time he writes an email. Not
everyone is willing to do this quietly. The law of assholes states that a
certain percentage of people are always going to give Jonas shit for typing
horribly (section 13.216.b).

Yes, it takes at least two people to start a flame war, so Jonas is
certainly not the only one at fault. What fails to pass the logic test is
that Jonas could bring an end to the whole thing peacefully, simply, and
without any hurt reputations or feelings...yet he doesn't choose to. He not
only continues the core action (poor typing), but he quickly resorts to
profanity and insults...which only eggs people on and escalates the verbal
violence. IMHO, he has two options:

1) Give people a legit reason why he can't type. This way, we'll all
understand him better, and no one will have any reason to razz him. I don't
care if it's a learning disorder or if a physical disability requires him to
type with his earlobes. As long as it's the truth, people will respect it.
Obviously, if people are left to assume Jonas is merely lazy (the default
assumption, I'd wager), then he's gonna get a lot of crap for it and
everything stays the same.

-or-

2) Type correctly.

No one can force him to take any particular action, but as long as things
don't change, they'll stay the same (get it? he-he...). Thus, the "logical"
assumption that if he has the power to change but doesn't choose to change,
he must therefore prefer the status quo. If someone can argue the contrary,
I'm open to a learning experience. What are the other possibilities?

Life is so good with new CV joints! I got the whole reman'd drive axles. To
my surprise, they were quite painless to install, too. Now, I just need to
get the A/C working again...
