Re: [Ign. ?] MSD for street use, which should I go for?

Speaking of which, I had a question of my own about this kinda thing. I'm
wondering about what'd go good with my car in terms of Jacobs Electronics pieces. What would work the best with my '85 system(stock).

Also, as a side question, would the Bosal 4-into-1 header be a good
alternative to a dual exhaust manifold and downpipe?

I bought a Jacobs ignition Pro system about 6 years  ago.  It did everything they said it would. Quicker starting, smoother running, and my gas mileage went from 26 mpg to 35mpg.  So I figure the unit has paid fir itself.  Though I think If  I would have replaced the whole stock system new, I probably would have got the same results.  The system is easy to install and if it has a problem all you have to do is disconnect 2 plugs and your back to stock.
Now on to the Bosal header. I bought one after my Supersprint header cracked.(lasted 7 yrs.)  They are a well made H.D. header, I do mean heavy.  It is a 2 piece system.  I had problems with the gasket that joins the 2 PCs. until I made a copper gasket and haven't had a problem since.  If I were to do it over though I would probably go back to the Supersprint just for the weight savings.
