Re: 16v 50mm Manifolds

Andy,...someone will chime in here with more,...but all the Scirocco1.8 16v
had their throttle openings on the left side.  (Left,....if you were sitting
in the car,..)     My 87 GTI had its opening on the right side,...so I'm
going to put my neck out here and say that only the sciroccos had openings
on the left.   Those would be years,...86-88 (89 Canada)  Yes the standard
was 42mm but the rumor is the very early cars actually made it here
stateside with 50mm.
