Mk1 would be my first choice, if you can find a good one.  In the Corrado
Dept. I think the G60 is the better choice for your price range.  $6000 will
get you a mint G60 or a beat up VR6.  And if you work on your own cars,
there's a lot more room to work under the hood of the G60.
