Unless your going all out on your motor the stock bottom end should be just
fine.  Just do a good quality rebuild for years of trouble free enjoyment.
If I were you I would do some top end work coupled with a good exhaust.
This would push you towards the 150 mark.  Which would be pretty impressive
in your mk. 1.
  Maybe Mr fENTON can help you out some.
