RE: Kamei Spoiler on a Euro Bumper Scirocco....Possible?



AFAIK, Kamei did not make anything for US-model cars. Their parts are all
designed to fit euro-spec models. However, in the case of a spoiler, I don't
think it matters. Patrick seems to have had no problems.

One thing you should be aware of: If you're planning on the X-1 spoiler,
which was the same one used on the factory GTX bodykit, the plastic is VERY
THIN and BRITTLE. In fact, I put a minor crack in mine just by holding it
incorrectly! If I do use it, I'm considering reinforcing it with fiberglass
in the corners. I'm kind of afraid to use it, though, because I'm sure that
a good whack from a cone at an autocross would take it out completely.
