Re: Front plate mount strategy?
Dan,
I got stopped in Vermont where i live for not having a front plate (a $40
ticket mind you) and i was told that i had to have one on there. Now
because i can't stand how a front plate makes my rocco look, i just took two
short strips of metal, drilled a hole in each end, used the stock bolt holes
for the licence plate bracket that you find on the under side of the us
bumpers adn hung the plate under the front bumper. I dont' know how strict
your laws are, but in vermont im assuming that we just need to have a front
plate on there, so i basicly made it looking at the ground mounted almost
all the way under my bumper, it has a slight angle, but is still hard to
see. so now if i get stopped again, i can tell that damn cop to go suck his
own pee-pee. No problems so far. I think there may be a pic on my web
sight where you can see what it looks like, it should work for you unless
the cops in your state suck worse than the cops in vermont ;)
