TDI Banned in NY, NJ and CA?!

Hey guys,
	Just got a tidbit of interesting information from the Mercedes list.

	Apparently you cannot buy (or register) a TDI in New York, New Jersey, or 
California.  The three states have banned the cars because of high 
emissions.  Who knew?

	Do any of you know anything about this?
