   Bradley Peet had 215/40/16 on his Mk2 and I dont believe he had much
rubbing trouble... not sure about the Mk1 tho... 205/40/17s gave me
enough trouble, but then again the wheel/tire combo is almost .75"

   DAMN!  I did a few searches online and couldn't find that size. 
Hmm...  I hear that Proxes T1-S is a good tire, especially in the rain.
I also want to mention that I am willing to bet that for a 215 tire they
will recommend at least a 7" wide rim.  Just thought I would throw that
out there for Jason.  =p
