Re: Cold Start Troubles
I had this problem with my '86 Jetta (CIS also), It was fixed about 90% by fixing vacuum leaks, including replacing most vacuum hoses and the injector seals. I don't know what would fix the other 10%, but it doesn't hurt drivability at all now.
