81 Scirocco S shell FS

Yes this is my car, Please respond to me off list.
Here's the deal.
I have an 81 Scirocco S shell FS.
The car has never been hit or bent.
It is a complete shell, no dents, chassis is rust free, clean title.

I started this project to build a 2.0 16V lightweight and autoXer, but have
decided to postpone my racing career, he he, until I can find a nice 77 for
SCCA ITC. I really don't want to have it crushed or cut up but I don't have
the time to reassemble it. We are moving, so I've got to get her out of the
garage ASAP. I will shed a tear when it goes either way.

I "might" consider selling the 2.0L 16V block (20K) and 1.8L head with the
car. Incentive?

Right now it has no glass, rubber, engine, suspension, harness, etc....just
a shell.
All imperfections have been taken out of pass side of car (only had dings
and paint chips, no dents)
Shaved pass mirror, pass side rear marker, rear wiper and badges, and rear
bumper cover holes.
I never got around to doing the drivers side due to lack of garage space and
time.
I will include all the glass and window mouldings except the windscreen
(cracked)

Negatives:
The front engine mt. location has a couple 1" stress cracks.
This car is a shell, put all the parts from your bent car on it, or build it
up the way you want it.
You will need to take away on a flatbed trailer.


I live in the San Jose, CA. Make me an offer and help save a nice rust free
Mk1 Scirocco.
