sunroof to non sunroof

well, I went and looked at this totally ragged out 84' 8v tonight that
some guy was asking $200 for.  It made me sad to see a  car in this
condition, however, there appeared to be a lot of salvagable parts on
it.  My question - is there any way to switch the factory sunroof over
to a scirocco without a factory sunroof?  Has anyone ever done this, and
what might be involved?

Anyway - I told him that the car was really not worth more than $50, and
he said "I'll take that for it."  I figure that I can salvage some stuff
off of it.
