You could. Its one hell of a tough time parking the beast. (I ran my GLi
without P/S for 2 weeks when I broke the resivour last year.) Ive seen
your arms, I dont think you got enough meat to manhandle it without the
assist. :)
Seriously, until you get the car moving, it really sucks trying to turn
the wheel. Why not just install the whole P/S system? I think for Autox,
its the best way to go. It doesnt use that much HP to run the system. Not
that much that it will hurt performance anyway.
I am rather jaded when it comes to P/S. I intend on installing it in both
my street car and my Autoxer. Some people dont like it, I see it as a
benefit.
