unconnected ground-strap

Hi, in my 1986 8v, I found a ground-strap connected to a bolt on the
hanger holding the ignition coil, but not connected to anything, hanging
down behind the engine. Any idea what this is supposed to be connected to?
It's about a 1.5 feet long.
