The three wires are for the stock units to get it up to speed. In your
case i don't see that being needed. In my case it's just the opposite-
PO put in a header and the O2 is WAY down in front of the cat. Told by
the ND guys that's what made it hard to pass smog because the thing
wouldn't get hot soon enough.

Make sure you cap off the HOT wires so they don't arc. Now, keep in mind
there may be something else hooked up to the O2 wires, so check the
schematic completely. OK?
