New 276 Cams, HD Valve Spring ?'s Valve Job ?s'

So I have a set of Shrick 276 cams coming soon and was advised that I should
switch to HD valve springs. Is this because of the greater (extreme) lift?
Can you swap the springs with the head in the car? How hard a job is it? How
much do springs usually cost? Am I going to have to buy a spring compressor
tool, or any other stuff?

If the best way is to pull the head I may go ahead and have a valve job done
as well since the head is already ported and polished. Anyone have a
thoughts on having the head shaved a little?
