looking for Scirocco/GTI

Hello,

Does anyone have a 16v Scirocco or MKII GTI for sale in or around Illinois.  
Price needs to be around $1000 and in decent working order.  I know this may 
be tough, but it's for my brother whose about to get his license.  Any leads 
are appreciated.
