headgaskets, downpipes, oh my!
Well, I was planning on doing the 'ol dual out manifold/tt downpipe, etc
soon, but I am pretty sure that noise I have begun hearing is the manifold
leaking a bit, so I will be doing this sooner than planned. I figure I will
just pull the head, to make removing the old studs etc. easier, as well as
give me a chance to change my timing belt and headgasket for preventative
purposes. Questions:
1) How about a vw motorsports thin gasket? Does the increase in compression
cause any problems? Is the expense (100+)actually worth it? Will I feel a
difference in performance?
2) In an effort to save costs, anyone out there have a TT Dual downpipe for
a cat w/ o2 hole? Worth a try...
