Re:Window tinting question -Fix it ticket already!

Speeding to work today and was pulled over by our beloved DPS. Checked the 
tint and it was at 6% when it needs to be 35%. Got a fix-it ticket. That was 
fast! Has anyone defied a fix-it ticket? I really want to keep the tint. I 
don't know if I would be arrested or just get a big fine if I don't take the 
front tint off. Thanks for the offer Paul.
