Having personally gone the rebuild-it-from-the-ground-up approach, I
think you have the mindset where driving the motor with 42k on it would
suit you fine. :) Since you want a streetable motor, with the least
amount of hassle, the known engine makes the most sense. I assume that
you're able to check the compression on this motor? IMHO, if it's
within tolerances, it sounds like a deal...except for the fact that
you don't really need the head. You could probably sell it and
get about $200 back from somebody...something to consider anyway.
