H&R springs

Hi All,

I note from scirocco.org that Jason, amongst others is using H&R springs and
Boge Turbo  dampers. Are the H&R springs you guys use specifically for
Sciroccos or are they the 'one type fits all' Scirocco 1&2 / Rabbit / Jetta
types?

The reason I ask is that I've recently fitted some to my mkII GTX, and when
I took it off the jack it just flattened the springs and sat on the bump
stops. It seems like the car is too heavy for the springs since the bottom
three coils are touching each other, and it clicks when it bounces as the
other coils touch.

I'm using Boge turbo dampers that are about 10k miles old.
