Sometimes new parts can be bad from the factory! Or, you have clogged oil
passages.....

Ok, so have you checked your thermo-time switch and warm up regulator per
the bentley yet? No need to start buying parts till you fully diagnose,
my friend!

OK, WHAT COLOR SMOKE? That will help in diagnosis.

Time to take it to someone with a hoist (like Meinike) so they can adjust
it with the weight on the wheels and level.
