VWC-075  VolksWagen Catalytic Converter
Brand new. The catalytic converter has two three bolt flanges that are
2.25"ID. It has a port for O2 sensor.
The stamping on the side reads: VW/ Audi Made in W Germany - 
853 131 701 D 11.20.482.30.0.00 XI.87  Eberspacher-Fits 4 cylinder VW's.

Question for the gang- 

Is having the O2 sensor down in the Cat (which gets hot, which is good) 

OR is it better to have it up in the manifold, which also gets hot,
(too, he said redundantly, again).


I have an older dual manifold without an O2 fitting so the CAT listed
would match up great, so I'm thinking.
