What I don't understand is why the numbers are so high on #3 and #4.
 I've never seen compression go *up* (except during break-in).  I just bought
this car, so I don't know it's history.  Could these readings simply be within
spec. tolerance?>>>>>>>>>>>>

I've had my 16V rocco for 9 years.   When I bought it it had 200-210 across 
all four.  It still reads 195-205 today after 183k miles.  Why????.... I 
don't know.  I just can't wait to put that 2.0 liter in.  wooohoo!
