yah that is kinda silly. =)
the switch is on the transmission.
it should be what those wires were connected to.
it should be a big ass nut looking thing with two
terminals coming out of it for A1 chassis cars.
for A2 chassis cars its a black angled thing
where a connector connects to. (for the guy who
said his friend's GTI did the same thing)
But its still on the transmission.
I am not sure but I believe later model sciroccos
got the other kind of backup switch too.
