Reverse lights on, followup

After many of you suggested it I disconnected the wires connecting to the
tranny and the lights went out. So I guess that means a faulty switch??
This may sound kinda silly but where is the switch? I just had 2 wires
connecting to the tranny. I followed those wires right back to the firewall
and into electrical land.
