route to ND from So. Cal.

So far, this is what I have as the agreed route to the ND show for 
the group coming up from So. Cal.:

101 north until Atascadero (where I'll join the group)
41 West to Morro Bay to pick up Hwy. 1 North (41 is pretty cool 
road).
Hwy1 north to where?  Might I suggest hwy 17 to get over to San 
Jose, another bitchin' road.
