   I dont think you can change gears to change the speedo, I think
you actually need an entirely new unit to do that.  The gear on the
speedo is only there to count miles, it isnt part of the speedo
needle.  There is some funky spring thingie that spins due to 
magnetism, which is what the needle rides on.  My guess is you
will need to find yourself a higher MPH speedo and put in the
entire thing, or so I believe...  Anyone here back me up or am I
whacked?
