Actually the main mechanincals are all the same...Mk1s and Mk2s all run on
the same chassis.  The mk1 just looks better....and is lighter....hehehe

You exhaust *might* fit...but I would assume not, the floor pans are a
little different..

Seats will fit perfect, according to Mr Honnold the dash from the Mk2
fits...but I personally like the mk1 dash better, Mk2 seats are generally
better....NO body parts will bolt up....but just about all the mechanicals
will...glad your becoming a Mk1 convert! haha
