Custom Scirocco Floormats update

As most of you know, over the past several months, I've been working
with a manufacturer to have custom logo'd Scirocco floormats made,
this is it's culmination...I do have one request, if you have
any questions after this, please re-read the message to make sure
the answer isn't already there, or check the RK Kustom website.  I'll
be very happy to talk about things I may have forgotten to cover
though... :)


Ok, I've talked with Rick at RK Kustom Auto Accessories. I've got
specific price breakdowns, and a 10% discount on orders of 5 or more.
I will personally handle the first order (maybe the second also if
enough people want) in order to make sure we get the discount.  I
would like to have interested parties pay up front however...we can
talk (I have references! :) )

Anyway, Rick has added information to his site (http://www.rkkustom.com)
specific to the Scirocco mats.  From the main page, scroll down to
the Scirocco mat logos in the lower left, the logos are links now.

As many of you know, RK Kustom has two lines of auto mats, the
Ultimats and the Acc OEM Carpet mats.  The Ultimats are are top of
the line Dupont high density plush pile, while the Acc mats are a
step up from the likes of what Pep Boys sells.  The Ultimats include
anti-skid retainers, the Acc mats do not.  The Ultimats can be
embriodered with the custom Scirocco logos as seen on the RK Kustom
site (Scirocco, Scirocco 8v, Scirocco 16v) while the Acc mats can not
be.  The Scirocco Ultimats are using the mat outlines I supplied from
my original Scirocco 16v specific VW floormats, so fit is guaranteed.
The Acc mats are also supposed to be a good fit as the company
supposedly uses actual cars to design the shapes, but they won't be
cut from the design I supplied.  Designs for the Scirocco Mk1 are
also available, but since I do not own one anymore, I was unable
to verify the exact fitment.

Full interior carpeting is available for the Sciroccos (Mk1 & 2) from
the Acc people, fully molded and in cut pile.  A Dashmat (or a
Velour Mat which is just a better Dashmat) are also availble for
both body styles (cover up that unsightly dash crack! :) )  If there's
enough demand, these could also be embroidered with the Scirocco logos.

The mats will be ready to order next week.  It'll take about 4 days to
process an order, then about 5 days for shipping.

For the Ultimats:

The mats can be made in over 40 different colors, and the embroidering
thread can be done in 12 different colors.  The perimeter will be
edged in a velour binding.

Note that the OEM carpet mat prices are slightly higher here then on the
web site due to the fact that these are fitted Scirocco mats, not a
universal pattern.

			  4 piece set, $50.00 + $7 shipping

The Acc Replacement molded carpets:  $124.00 + $10 shipping

Acc Dashmat: $38.95  Velourmat:  $40.95  (pictures of these in Cyclones are
on the RK website)



Plain Ultimats (cut to my supplied Scirocco pattern):
			2 Fronts, $74.95 + $6 shipping
			2 Fronts & 2 rears, $94.95 + $6 shipping

Embroidered with Scirocco logo Ulitmats (cut to my supplied pattern):
			2 Fronts, $104.95 + $6 shipping
			2 Fronts & 2 plain rears, $124.95  + $6 shipping
			all 4 embroidered, $144.95 + $6 shipping

Like I mentioned previously, I paid $90 for a set of 'universal' VW floor
mats from a dealer a while back, and they're wearing out after 2 years.
Rick _assures_ me that the Ultimats are of the utmost highest quality and
will wear exteremely well for many many years. With a group discount,
the 2 embroidered front mats would be ~$96 delivered.

I know this isn't as cheap as we all wanted it to be, but at least we
can get them at all.  If you are serious about going ahead with this,
please contact me to make arragements for the first group purchase. Surf
on over to the site and check them out if you haven't, he'd also like
to have several Scirocco pics up on his showing off the mats after
we've installed some sets too...

Oh, to remind everyone again, I am making nothing off any transaction
at all.  Nada. Nothing.  No kickback, no discount...however, any
tribute that you'd like to leave at my house please let me know. :)
