very well. o-}>
i have no problem revving it to redline, i do (not all the time of
course). but when i find myself involved in a stop-light drag, you bet
i'll give it all it's got. but whenever i do any sort of "spirited"
driving, i never let the revs drop below 4K. i've always done this even
with the stock cams, it's just the nature of the 16V. what i want is
the best 0 to 60 (or 80 or whatever) car i can have without making the
car completely useless for everyday use. i have an adj. cam sprocket, i
was thinking of advancing the cam a little to move the power band lower
in the rpm range. either that or finding someone that would be willing
to do a straight swap, 268's for 260's. i really don't think that i use
these cams to the fullest. since this is my only car, i want the best
all around car i can have, not one that only goes flat-out. i still
haven't worked out all the problems yet anyway (i've got a bad O2
sensor), so i haven't really felt the full effect of these cams. soon i
will be polishing the intake and port-matching them. i'm sure that will
do something. and i kinda like the lumpy idle, sounds menacing...
