Hi.

Sounds like you might be the man to talk to. As you know from my previous
posts - I'm trying some strange things with my 84 scirocco - like fake
vinyl my top, side exhaust pipes etc...

I want to put running boards on the bottom of the car - first, it would
make the rocco look like a Low Rider, protect the carpets in the winter -
and eventually supply a bracket for the side exhausts and leg protection.

Well, I'm going to use basic truck running boards but they need to mold
onto/into wheel well part of fenders. So, I thought I'd change the look of
the fender, make it look more like the 60s covertible types - you know the
rounded, over-flared fender made for big wheels etc...


How could I make these fenders cosmetic-quality? This could also apply to
side panels to make the cut-out vents in front of back wheels like a Rieger
style - could it not?
