16V Timing/Closed Throttle Switch

Ok.. so I realized that my idle throttle switch was not being depressed at
idle so the car had not been timed properly a couple days ago when I timed it.
I fixed that today.. but I was wondering... what does that thing do????
......now to get the idle set correctly.  O by the way, it SCREAMS now that
it's timed right.  If I could just stop burping up so much oil from my PCV
valve and clogging up my K&N and fouling my plugs I'd be set.  Later all.
